Is God aloof or is He a God of intimacy?

The question of whether or not God is knowable is an important one. One of the biggest questions we want to answer is if God exists and if He does can I know God? People answer this in many different ways. For many the idea of God while being a grand idea, is just simply just an idea. For others, while they believe that God exists, He is too remote or mysterious to get to know. Some would argue that God is just some old fashioned concept that is really unnecessary in a modern and scientific world. Yet, for the Christian we would assert that God is not only real, but that He is knowable. It is this very belief, among others, that causes us to be different from the world. We simply see what others cannot, and while knowing God may cause us to stand out, it is something that we should enjoy and never take for granted.

We are going to take a look at three ways that God takes us residence in our hearts and lives.
