What happens when we step out in faith?

Has your faith been stirred?  Do you feel like God is calling you out to do something?  Perhaps there’s something that you feel needs to get done, or needs to happen?  Maybe you just don’t feel good or comfortable with business as usual?  All of those are indication that God has put something on your heart and is calling you to take action.  But here is the thing, when we feel stirred we need to do something about it, otherwise we risk being frustrated or disillusioned.  What that means is that when we are stirred it means that we have to act and in a season where the church is looking for how to minister to a culture that is becoming increasingly secular and apathetic towards God, there is definitely a desire to do something about it.  So it is a season of action which means that it is a season to exercise your faith.  So what does it look to exercise your faith?  What happens when I am called to be the solution to the problems that I see?  Well, we’ve been looking at the example of Nehemiah to understand what happens when we act in faith to a call from God.

In this Sermon

We are going to take a look at the very moment that Nehemiah had to hang it all out on the line and request a monumental favor from the King.
