Family SundayCain & Abel is a familiar story to anyone who has ever read the Bible or attended Sunday School. I think any child who has been to church has heard the story of how Cain murdered his brother Abel. It is an intriguing story that has been told from one generation to the next and I think that it almost goes without saying that when a story becomes as common as Cain & Abel that we sometimes lose the significance of what it has to teach us.  Which is why I think it is so important to re-read and study familiar Bible stories with fresh eyes and a humble heart. Cain and Abel is more than just a story about murder it is a story that looks deep into the human heart and reveals what motivates us especially when it comes to our relationship with God.

In this Sermon

Hear about the subtle difference between the two brother’s offerings and how something so small and seemingly insignificant can make all of the difference in the world. Also, discover how the way you deal with the evil in your heart will either lead you to repentance or into sin.
