How did Jesus live out His faith?

When we are talking about spiritual maturity, we are talking about becoming like Christ. So, if Christ is our goal and He is our example, what is it that we should be trying to become like? This is where we really need to get into the word of God, because honestly our opinions of who Christ is, is irrelevant unless our opinions match up with the word of God. Of course, this is true of all aspects of our lives. We must be really cautious about our opinions and preconceived notions, because if we are not careful, we can hold certain ideas and values that are commonly accepted in the church, but which might not align with the scripture. It is the desire of my heart to let go of my wrongmindedness and pursue the mind of Christ as I go so that I am the best reflection of His image, and I don’t muddy the reputation of Christ because I’ve allowed my sinful nature to distort things. So, as we continue in our exploration of who Jesus was, we must look at some scripture that clearly identifies how Jesus lived His life and these are the very things that we need to be mastering as we live ours.
