Podcast: Play in new window
You don’t have to take it with you into the new year.
Every year as we say goodbye to one year and we welcome in a new one, we often reflect about what matters most to us and we consider things that we may need to change or do differently if we want to improve our lives. This generally turns into New Year’s Resolutions and while we make them with the best of intentions they typically don’t pan out. This year I’d like us to focus less on behavior modification and more on what matters…living at peace with God and living at peace with others. I believe that most of what we would like to change, the troubles we have, and the things that we need to improve, stem from priorities that have gotten us away from having peace in these areas. I also am convinced that when we set out to live at peace with God and others that most of our issues will clear up.
In this Sermon
We are going to take a good look at how we can make peace with God and how we can make peace with others.
