It’s Time to Return to Church

After a year of getting used to doing church online and after forming new habits around what we do on Sunday mornings, it’s important for us to consider where we go from here. The truth is that while we can broadcast services so that they can be watched online from anywhere, you cannot broadcast community. And even though having an online presence is beneficial especially when you cannot attend, we need to remember what is at the heart of Christianity, fellowship with other Christians. The simple fact is that we need each other. Simply put, Christianity was never meant to be observed in isolation. If we disconnect from each other then we disconnect from the spiritual support and encouragement that we all need. And so as vaccinations increase and things get back to normal we need to be intentional about getting back into the rhythm of attending church on Sunday morning and making those vital connections that we need.

We are going to address the bad habits we’ve gotten used to and take a look at why being here is so important.
