What can we learn about faith from Mary?

We know the story well. We know how Mary was visited by the angel Gabriel and told that she would birth Jesus Christ. We know it so well that we often forget that somewhere in time there was a young woman who was given this news and had to determine how she would receive it. She could have rejected it. She could have denied it. She also had the choice to receive it. It wasn’t an easy decision and it was a decision that required faith. It was also a decision that came with its own rewards and struggles. Mary chose to serve the Lord and in the decision that she made we can learn how we can meet God’s invitations with faith ourself.

In this Sermon

We are going to take a look at all of the promises and challenges that Mary faced and how her faith in God can inspire us to great faith too.
