Is there hope when we feel alone?
The truth is that for almost a year now we have experienced different levels of loneliness. Because of a global health crisis we have needed to shelter in place and quarantine, and for some their medical needs have necessitated it. It is no wonder that we have seen a rise in depression, anxiety, fear, substance abuse, and even suicide during the same period of time. It has changed how we live and interact with others and those changes have effected the church. Yet, we are called to live in community and so we face a dilemma, disconnect or find a way that the church can face this isolation head on and even shine a light into the darkness that hangs over us.
In This Sermon
We are going to take a look at four promises or propositions that the Lord makes to us to remind ourselves that we can find hope in God even in the worst of times.
