Did you know that you need Christian community and fellowship?
This past year has certainly presented its challenges. We have seen the impact of a global pandemic which has led us to experience isolation as people have sheltered in place and had to quarantine. Unfortunately a direct result of that there has been an increase in anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and even suicidal thoughts and attempts. All of this simply reminds us that we just were not meant to be alone. In fact, we were created for connection and that it is especially true for the church. We were not only born again, but we were born again into the fellowship of believers and the body of Christ. Yet, all of this isolation has affected the church and we’ve lost a bit of what Christian community is and how it functions. It is something that we desperately need to remind ourselves of and look for ways to redeem.
In This Sermon
In this sermon we are going to look at the LOGICAL purpose for Christian community and challenge ourselves to incorporate these things back into our lives.
