Is there a purpose to tithing?

Here’s something that I know, behind every law there is a reason and beyond our obedience there is blessing. So when we talk about tithing we eventually need to take a look at why God would command us to do this. Is it for our benefit or is it for some other reason? The truth is that God did not command us to tithe for our destruction, He commanded it as a blessing to us. You see there are promises and purpose to tithing and if we are obedient to giving a tenth of our income to the Lord we will be able to experience them.

In this Sermon

We are going to look at what God promises us if we tithe. We’ll also take a look at some of the practical reasons that we tithe and how tithing is about increase and not decrease.
