Did you know that satan hates you?

How many of you have ever found yourself in the position when you really begin to step out in faith, you feel the attack of the enemy? Did you know that resistance is satan’s number one defense? The enemy is not interested in actually beating you, he’s just interested in distracting you or convincing you that whatever it is you are doing is not worth the aggravation. So, the end game is for you to give up. You see the devil is afraid of you, not because of anything that you bring to the table, but because of what you carry. You see you, as a disciple of Christ, have the indwelling presence of the Spirit of God and that spirit in on you, in you, and with you everywhere you go. It is that very Spirit of God that has victory over satan, which sets the captives free, and which takes back territory and dominion from the devil himself. Don’t you know that the devil has already lost, so the game isn’t for him to win, it’s just to slow down the process of the spreading of the gospel? So, it’s no wonder that the devil resists us whenever we try to live our lives for Christ, especially when we get serious about following Jesus and we get serious about the work of the gospel. So, what do we do when the devil attacks?

In this Sermon

We’ll explore how should we perceive resistance and what we should expect our lives to be like as Christians. We’ll also look at how to deal with the enemy’s attacks.
