The Coming Religious Deception

As we continue to take a look at the Biblical prophecies about the end times, one thing that we need to consider is the coming religious deception that will take place in those days. As God pours out His spirit on His church and as revival breaks out the enemy will seek to pervert and confuse what God is doing. Even back in the days of Moses, when God performed miracles before the Pharaoh, the Pharaoh’s conjurers duplicated each sign and wonder. The goal back then wasn’t to prove that the conjurers were more powerful, but to cast doubt on the power of God. This is what it will be like in the end. The enemy’s time will be running out and the goal will no longer be to hide or simply to lead people into sin and destruction, but it will be to cause people to question the legitimacy of God and to create a false religion. It will be done with power and it will be so good of a deception that it would confuse and lead astray even those who love the Lord. The question is how do we prepare for such a time as that?

We are going to take a look at four religious deceptions that will prevail in the end days. We also look at how that will affect people and how we can get ready to face such deception.
