Did you know that you will face resistance when you step out on the Lord’s behalf?

We’ve been taking a look at the example that Nehemiah and his generation gave to us as they rebuilt the walls and the city of Jerusalem after 70 years of exile. Nehemiah was able to get permission and the supplies need to get the job done, but it’s never just that easy. In fact, once they set out to rebuild the city walls and the work was coming along, that’s when their enemies began to threaten them to keep them from getting the work done. Unfortunately this is all too common the work of God is often done against adversity, at least for a season, but we have the hope and promise that if we continue with Him that we will eventually see the fruits of our labor.

In This Sermon

We are going to look at the three ways that they dealt with resistance. Two were from outside influences and one was from within.
