You can stop living defeat because their is victory in Jesus
It is my firm belief that far too many Christians are living in defeat. It’s something that we often don’t talk about because we would rather hide our imperfections and our struggles from one another, choosing instead to suffer in secret. The problem is that because we are wrestling on the inside, we end up disqualifying ourselves from taking part in the mission of the gospel. We too easily convince ourselves that we are not good enough or not worthy enough for God to partner with. However, we need to understand that God has chosen to partner with His people, because if He waited for us to become picture perfect, nothing would ever get done. And so it is the heart of God that we understand that we each have a part to play in accomplishing His good works and that we do not need to feel isolated in fear, addiction, depression, or even the cycle of repeating the same sins over and over. Those things are the enemies way of keeping us out of the game, but the good news is that there is victory through Jesus over the enemies schemes.
In this Sermon
We are going to look at some of the ways that the Devil tries to disqualify us and what the Bible promises us about overcoming the enemy.
