What Influence Does A Godly Mother Have?

Today is Mother’s Day and I think that it is a good idea for us to take a look at the anchoring influence that a righteous mother has on her children’s life and faith. I believe that the scripture is clear that women play a very specific role in shaping the lives and faith of their children and despite what the culture would have you believe there is something so very special in what a mom has to offer that cannot be fully offered by a dad. Now this doesn’t mean that men don’t have a special role either, in fact they do as well, and there are some things that even cross over between the two, but we are not talking about fathers today, that is next month. Today we want to take a look at how a good Christian mother has an important role in grounding their children, especially when it comes to raising healthy Godly men and women.
