It’s one of the Big Ten (Ten Commandments) that we are supposed to set aside a day unto the Lord for connecting with Him, fellow believers and for rest. However, in our busy lives it seems like a law that we really struggle with observing. We excuse it away or try to work around it, but the Sabbath, according to Jesus, was made for us. So there is something in it for us if we practice the Sabbath. The question is what is the Sabbath for and how do we observe it as Christians?
In this Sermon
We will take a good look into what the Sabbath is all about and some of the traditional perspectives found in both Christianity and Judaism.
