What Can God Do Through You?

It is a question that most Christians either don’t ask or perhaps they’ve already answered with “nothing”.  Unfortunately, we know where we come from and we know our own imperfections well enough that we really don’t think we are good enough to serve God.  After all, why would God want to work through someone who has done what I’ve done, who has been where I’ve been, and who is as imperfect as me?   The truth is that God has no other choice.  He either works with imperfect sinners or He can not work with anyone, since all of us have sinned and fallen short.

So what does this mean for us?  It means that I can either spend my whole life trying to make myself better so that I feel qualified, or I just decide that I am going to represent and serve God in my imperfections.  Let me let you in on a little secret.  If you pursue making yourself better, you will never be good enough and so you will never serve God.  However, if you just decide that you are going to serve good and worry about your imperfections later, I have found that God takes care of the imperfections as you go.  Simply stated, if you see God move in your life, you will be transformed.  So what can God do through you?  A lot more than you think.

In this Sermon

We are going to encourage you to ask this question and prepare yourself to see God move in and through you.
