Mary and Elizabeth

Christmas is about more than the birth of Jesus, it is about the light of God bursting forth into the earth. Since the fall of man, people lived in darkness hoping for a time when everything would be illuminated. When Christ came the eyes of man where opened so that they could see. Christ ushered in truth, He ushered in clarity, He ushered in freedom from our bondage. Paul referred to this as being transferred from a kingdom of darkness to a kingdom of light. We've all experienced this beautiful transformation when we accepted Jesus Christ and were saved. For those who were experiencing that first Christmas, they were experiencing the light for the first time. Both for them and all of humanity. Today we look at Mary and Elizabeth's journey from darkness unto light.
